Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among preschoolers. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health and safety regulations through diligent supervision and documentation. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is essential. Knowledge of curriculum development, childhood development principles, and classroom management strategies. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage parents positively. Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math concepts, or standardized testing is advantageous. Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that incorporate child development instruction across various domains.
