In this role, you will create a vibrant, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood education principles. Your enthusiasm for child development, combined with your ability to implement creative lesson plans, will foster a love of learning in preschool-aged children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team. •Please note: The starting shift for all new employees is 9:00am-6:00pm. Requirements:
Food Handler Cards First Aid High School Diploma Duties Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a nurturing classroom environment that supports toddler care, preschool activities, and special education needs. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing to monitor progress and inform instruction. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to childhood welfare. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student records and incident reports. Incorporate early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services. Experience Proven teaching experience with young children in preschool or early childhood education settings. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool teaching methodologies. Familiarity with child welfare policies, first aid and CPR certification, and mandated reporting laws. Prior experience with private schools or similar educational institutions is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
