KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for the Skyrise School of Portland to nurture and inspire young learners. In this on-site role, you will create a safe, engaging classroom, implement developmentally appropriate lessons, and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You'll collaborate with a caring team, communicate regularly with families, and uphold licensing and safety standards. Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment for young children. Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum and daily activities. Observe and document children's developmental progress and learning milestones. Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom events. Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership to support center goals. Maintain classroom organization, safety, and adherence to licensing regulations. Support children's social-emotional development and positive behavior. Participate in professional development and training sessions.
