Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with children in classroom settings, including preschool or childcare environments. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies for young children. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively through classroom management skills and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws, childhood development assessments, and standardized testing procedures. Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure safety during emergencies; ongoing training is encouraged.
