Based on experience and qualifications Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Child Care Director at Kinder Kollege Learning Center, a high-quality early learning program dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment. In this leadership role, you will work closely with the Center Director to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing regulations, support staff development, and promote program excellence. We are seeking an energetic, organized, and experienced professional who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, families, and the community. Responsibilities Assist the Center Director in managing daily center operations and ensuring compliance with state licensing regulations and quality standards. Supervise teaching staff and classroom activities while providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities. Conduct classroom observations and performance evaluations. Support curriculum implementation and development of engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Maintain children's records, attendance, and required documentation. Assist with budgeting, monitoring expenditures, and financial planning. Help develop and implement strategic plans for program growth, enrollment, community outreach, and family engagement. Foster strong relationships with families through effective communication and customer service. Coordinate health and safety practices, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols. Assist with enrollment, parent tours, and community events. Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture. Minimum Qualifications

✔ Minimum 2 years of PAID classroom teaching experience in a licensed child care center, preschool, Head Start, public school, or private school. ✔ High School Diploma or GED. ✔ Ability to pass all required background checks. ✔ Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. ✔ Experience working directly with young children in an educational setting. Preferred Qualifications Previous Child Care Director or Assistant Director experience. CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field. Knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. Knowledge of Texas Rising Star standards and quality improvement practices. CPR/First Aid Certification. Experience with staff supervision, scheduling, budgeting, and program management.
