Your leadership will ensure a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will serve as a role model for staff and parents alike, inspiring best practices in early childhood education while maintaining compliance with all safety and licensing standards. Duties Plan and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' individual needs and milestones, promoting physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to ensure high-quality care and consistent classroom management Foster strong relationships with families through regular communication about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid, CPR certification, and mandated reporting laws Observe children's behavior closely to identify developmental needs or concerns and collaborate with families or specialists as needed Lead daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and professionalism Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Proven experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings Strong classroom management skills to create an organized, nurturing environment Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child safety procedures Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively while maintaining positive reinforcement Familiarity with early childhood education curricula and child supervision best practices Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to lead a team of caregivers with enthusiasm and professionalism Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundation they need to thrive!
