Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the young minds in our early childhood education program. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic child development. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress through standardized testing and informal observations to tailor instruction effectively. Engage in active classroom management to maintain discipline while fostering a nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing early intervention strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices. Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in child welfare or behavior management are a plus. Ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with educational standards while adapting to individual student needs. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
