Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Sullivan center to create a warm, engaging environment where young children can thrive. In this role, you will plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. You will maintain a safe, inclusive classroom, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance our early childhood curriculum. Responsibilities Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that supports learning and exploration. Observe, document, and communicate children's progress to families and center leadership. Build positive, inclusive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Follow all licensing, health, and safety standards and Kinder Care policies. Collaborate with teaching team to enhance curriculum and classroom practices. Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Participate in professional development and training opportunities. Required Skills Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child observation and assessment Parent and family communication Knowledge of child development Health, safety, and sanitation practices Behavior guidance and social-emotional support Lesson planning and documentation Collaboration and teamwork in a childcare setting Basic technology skills for reporting and communication
