Overview We are seeking a Childcare Teacher to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in their care. In this role, you will support children's growth and development by implementing age-appropriate activities based on the provided curriculum, ensuring their safety, and fostering positive behavior. Schedule We are looking to fill full-time positions (as many of our teachers went back to college and two will soon be on maternity leave) with teachers working 5, 8 hour days or 4, 10 hour days. A typical schedule for full time teachers is similar to, 8-5pm, 8:15-5:15pm, or if working 10 hour days, 7-5pm, 7:30-5:30pm. We are not currently hiring for part time positions , as we already have those covered! Duties Engage with children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities in a safe and structured environment Implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts Monitor children's behavior using effective behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions Assist with diapering and other basic care needs based on child's developmental stage Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space, including toys, supplies, and learning materials Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Qualifications Experience caring for children between the ages of 6 weeks through 12 years old preferred, not required Knowledge of developmentally appropriate child standards preferred Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for nurturing young learners Completion of Early Childhood required classes, or higher education preferred .
