KinderCare is seeking a Senior Teacher for our Cedarburg learning center. In this role, you will lead an early childhood classroom, designing developmentally appropriate, play-based lessons that nurture each child's curiosity and growth. You will model best practices in classroom management, guide and mentor assistant teachers, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. The Senior Teacher partners closely with families, regularly sharing progress and milestones, and collaborates with center leadership to enhance curriculum and meet licensing and safety standards. Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for preschool-aged children. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Assess children's progress and document developmental milestones. Communicate regularly with families about children's growth and daily activities. Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom staff. Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with center leadership on curriculum and classroom improvements. Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
