Duties Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, naps, and transitions, ensuring their safety at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Follow established curriculum guidelines and adapt activities to meet individual needs of children with diverse abilities Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns that arise Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Respond promptly to emergencies or behavioral issues using approved behavior management techniques Assist with classroom setup, material preparation, and daily documentation as needed Skills Demonstrated experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving practices Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) to ensure preparedness for emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries Understanding of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements for child protection Embark on a rewarding journey where your nurturing spirit fuels the growth of young learners!
