Child Care Center Hours of Operation:
Mondays - Fridays from 6:30am - 5:30pm Duties and Responsibilities Both Lead and Assistant Child Care Teachers are responsible for the children's well-being while under their care and maintaining a safe and fun environment for the children while making sure the children interact with each other in an appropriate manner. Organizing activities and developing curriculum for infants/preschool children Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day Keeping records of each child's progress, interests and any problems that may occur Maintaining contact with the children's parents Encouraging of independence and self-help with children Keeping information regarding children, families, staff, and the company confidential Must keep current with required continuing education on a yearly basis Skills and Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Account Created on the Wisconsin Registry System (preferred but not required) Early Childhood Education (preferred but not required) Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (preferred but not required) Caring and compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children Strong verbal communication and listening skills to converse with children, fellow professional caregivers and parents or guardians Excellent patience and stamina for keeping up with the demands of children of all ages Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to handle multiple children at a time Behavioral analysis and cognitive recognition abilities for anticipating and addressing potential interactions or issues Displays a positive attitude with the children, families, and staff Pay scale based on credentials and experience.
