Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. The Daycare Teacher will work with infants through preschool-aged children, fostering their growth and learning through engaging experiences. Duties Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with developmental milestones. Provide attentive care for infants, ensuring their basic needs are met, including feeding, diapering, and comfort. Supervise children during playtime and structured activities to ensure safety and engagement. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional development. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration. Collaborate with colleagues to develop programs that support children with disabilities or special needs. Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience with infant care is highly desirable. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. First Aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members. A nurturing attitude and a genuine passion for working with young children.
