You'll work directly with a 15-year-old student who benefits from focused, one-on-one instruction to enhance reading skills relevant to their ongoing career education. With a modest weekly commitmentjust 2 hours across 2-3 daysyou have the chance to make a significant difference while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in education or a related field Reading Specialist Standard Certificate Prior experience designing and delivering specialized reading interventions is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Assess the students reading abilities and develop a tailored instructional plan Provide engaging, targeted reading instruction to address identified areas for growth Collaborate with school staff to integrate reading strategies that support career-focused coursework Track progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure student success Communicate with faculty and, as appropriate, the students support network to celebrate progress and maintain alignment
