Requirements:

Must have NYS Certification as a Birth-grade 6 Literacy Teacher or K-12 Permanent Reading We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: NYS 1-6 Students with Disabilities certification Exemplify the WCSD vision, Core Beliefs, and Essential Skills Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive support to elementary students Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the English program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students

Salary:

As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education.
