Job Description
The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered educator to serve as a Reading Specialist at Skippack Elementary School, effective immediately. The successful candidate will provide targeted, data-informed reading instrcution; collaborate with teachers and families; and support the literacy growth of diverse learners. Certification and/or Licensure Requirements This position requires Pennsylvania certification in Reading Specialist PK-12 Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of literacy development, effective reading instruction, assessment, and intervention practices. Ability to use student data to plan and deliver differentiated instruction. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to integrate instructional technology to support literacy learning. Commitment to fostering a culturally responsive and student-centered learning environment. Compensation The starting salary will be determined as outlined in the Perkiomen Valley Education Association Agreement.
