Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a passionate educator to provide full-time instruction to 6th-8th graders, fostering curiosity and growth throughout the academic year. Key Qualifications:
Valid and active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) Certificate (applications or pending certification will not be accepted) Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a science-related field Prior experience teaching science in a general education setting, ideally at the middle school level Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills Commitment to nurturing an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and age-appropriate science lessons to a single class of middle schoolers (grades 6-8) in an onsite role Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and foster student understanding Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and student needs Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback to students and parents as appropriate Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience
