Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and committed High School Science Teacher who can effectively integrate a biblical worldview with scientific instruction. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in the sciences, a love for teaching, and the ability to guide students in exploring the wonders of God's creation through a scientific lens.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and teach science courses (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for high school students. Integrate a biblical perspective with the scientific curriculum, helping students see the connection between faith and science. Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a biblical understanding of science. Maintain a safe and engaging laboratory space for hands-on experiments and demonstrations. Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and projects, offering constructive feedback. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall academic experience and school culture. Provide mentorship and guidance for students, helping them see science as a way to understand and appreciate God's creation. Encourage students to explore careers in science from a Christian perspective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master's preferred). Experience teaching science at the high school level. Strong understanding of integrating faith with science and a commitment to a biblical worldview. Ability to foster a love for science and discovery among students. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Active, authentic faith in Christ and involvement in a church community. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.
