Job Description

Chippewa Middle School 7-8 SCIENCE - 100% The Okemos Public Schools is accepting applications for an outstanding science educator. The ideal Chippewa Middle School science teacher candidate will facilitate science instruction to a diverse group of middle school students.
Qualifications :
Teaching certification with a Science Endorsement (DI or DX). Must be highly qualified to teach science. Professional, collaborative and collegial problem solver.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with middle level students. Ability to collaborate with colleagues. Connects well with caregivers. Growth and asset-minded . . . each day is a 'get-to' day. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in differentiated instruction and utilized multiple teaching methods. Strong communication skills. Highly organized.
