Conduct laboratory experiments, dissections, and research activities in biology, chemistry, physics, and related fields such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, and cell biology. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation and grading. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to student success. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and educational research initiatives. Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support for students' personal growth and educational goals. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, lesson plans, and compliance with educational regulations. Integrate learning technology into lessons to enhance engagement and understanding of complex scientific concepts such as differential equations or discrete math when applicable. Participate in professional development opportunities focused on science education best practices, research laboratory techniques, or special education strategies. Experience Proven experience teaching science at the high school level or middle school with a strong background in classroom management and instructional delivery. Demonstrated expertise in science subjects including physics (geometry, trigonometry), chemistry (organic chemistry), biology (genetics, microbiology), mathematics (algebra, calculus), and related STEM fields. Experience designing curriculum implementation that aligns with educational standards while fostering inquiry-based learning. Familiarity with laboratory procedures such as dissection techniques and research laboratory experience is highly desirable. Skilled in integrating educational technology tools for lesson planning and classroom instruction. Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, mentoring students, and engaging parents or guardians. Prior experience working in private schools or institutions emphasizing higher education teaching methodologies is a plus.
