The Department of Physics at Hampton University is an academic unit within the School of Science, offering BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Physics. Position Overview The Department of Physics invites applications from qualified candidates to join its adjunct instructor pool. Primary teaching assignments include Introductory Physics lectures and laboratories (service courses). Candidates with advanced qualifications may also be considered for upper-division undergraduate or graduate-level courses.
Requirements Introductory Physics courses:
A master's degree in Physics or a related field is required. Candidates holding a master's degree in a related field must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.
Upper-division undergraduate and graduate courses:
A PhD in Physics is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in health-related physics and teaching experience.
