Responsibilities Lead structured martial arts classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, emphasizing technique, discipline, and personal development Develop customized training plans that incorporate sports-specific skills such as kicking, punching, and forms practice Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including AED operation and first aid procedures when necessary Foster a positive environment that encourages respect, teamwork, and perseverance among students Communicate effectively with parents and clients regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and program updates Assist with organizing martial arts tournaments, demonstrations, or community events to showcase student achievements Maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas to uphold high standards of safety and professionalism Qualifications Proven experience in martial arts instruction with a strong background in teaching various styles such as karate, taekwondo, or jiu-jitsu Lifeguard experience or swimming proficiency is a plus for programs involving water safety components Experience working with children or adolescents in sports or educational settings Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage behavior effectively in a group setting Knowledge of sports coaching techniques including soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading or climbing is advantageous Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation certification preferred Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Prior experience in health club or gym environments is beneficial but not required Passion for physical education, sports coaching experience, and working with students to promote healthy habits Embark on a rewarding journey where your expertise fuels confidence, discipline, and enthusiasm.
