This is a full-time, at-will faculty position with primary responsibilities in teaching, student engagement, and service to the program, university, and profession. The standard teaching load for this position is nine (9) courses per academic year, with additional expectations for service and participation in program development and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-quality, student-centered MSW program that prepares ethical, reflective, and competent social work practitioners aligned with Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) competencies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teaching and Instruction Teach graduate-level MSW courses consistent with assigned workload (9 courses per academic year) Deliver instruction aligned with approved curriculum, course objectives, and

competencies Employ inclusive, evidence-informed, and engaging instructional strategies appropriate for graduate social work education Integrate theory, research, policy, and practice across micro, mezzo, and macro levels Assess student learning using established assignments, rubrics, and grading standards Provide timely, constructive, and developmentally appropriate feedback to students Maintain accurate academic records and meet all grading and reporting deadlines Teach in online, hybrid, or on-ground formats, as determined by program needs Program and University Service Participation in MSW program meetings, committees, and curriculum development initiatives Contribution to program assessment, accreditation-related activities, and continuous quality improvement Engagement in student advising, mentoring, and support as assigned Participation in university service activities, including committees, task forces, or faculty governance Collaboration with colleagues to support program growth, innovation, and mission alignment Professional Engagement Maintain professional competence and knowledge of current trends in social work education and practice Uphold the NASW Code of Ethics and Bellevue University policies Engage in ongoing professional development, scholarship, or practice-related activities consistent with the role Required Qualifications Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a CSWE-accredited program Minimum of two years of post-MSW professional social work practice experience Demonstrated commitment to social work values, ethics, and social justice Strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills Ability to teach effectively in an online learning environment or willingness to complete required training Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in social work (DSW or PhD) or a closely related field Prior teaching experience in higher education, preferably in an MSW program Experience in areas aligned with program needs (e.g., clinical practice, trauma-informed care, supervision, policy, research, leadership, or field education) Experience with curriculum development, assessment, or accreditation processes Pay and Benefits The yearly salary for this role ranges from $65,000 - $80,000 Bellevue University full-time faculty enjoy an excellent benefits package which include: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 403(b) retirement and tuition remission.
