POSITION

One tenure-track faculty position at theAssistant/Associate Professor rank available in August 2027 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting, with a strongpreference for Financial Accounting and other accounting/technology related courses. The Department of Accounting faculty teach a widevariety of accounting courses and the ideal candidate will possess knowledge and the ability to teach in multiple subject areas and becomfortable with current technologies, including

AI. QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will hold a doctorate in Accounting from an AACSBor ACBSP-accredited university. Significant experience as an accounting practitioner as well as an established publication record, orevidence of strong research potential, will lead to a very high level of consideration. The maintenance of an active CPA license isrequired. Applicants must have a demonstrated track record of successful teaching in accounting at the university level.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Baldwin Wallace University emphasizes teaching. Additional responsibilities include student advising/mentoring, service on University andSchool committees, and continuing professional development to keep license/credentials current. Preference will be given to candidates witha commitment to student learning, collaborative program building and a willingness to support the University's general education program.
