Position Information Position Title University Faculty Social Work Requisition Number F00539P Job Description The Social Work Program at Weber State University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor, opening in Fall 2027. This position is a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment with a primary assignment in the Master of Social Work Program, which has been granted accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Job Duties The position involves graduate teaching responsibilities across the curriculum within an advanced clinical social work practice framework, as well as instruction in the department's undergraduate program as needed. The teaching emphasis in this position will include the foundations of social work, human behavior in the social environment (HBSE), practice-informed research, and research-informed practice, as well as behavioral health, macro practice, and clinical practice theory and methods. Other responsibilities include student advising, committee assignments, professional activities, presentations, publications, and community service.

Required Qualifications Required:
