This full-time, contract position is open to travel SPED teachers and will make a difference in schools in the Bethel, AK area, including roles near Akiachak. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to ensure each student receives the support they need, with particular emphasis on ELA instruction when needed. The school provides housing for travel teachers, creating a seamless transition into your new community.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field Valid state certification to teach Special Education Experience working in a resource, self-contained, or general education classroom Strong background in ELA instruction for diverse learners Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in different classroom settings Excellent communication and collaboration skills
