What You Bring:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) Experience or strong interest in working in resource and self-contained classroom environments Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs Dedication to individualized, student-centered instruction Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families Creativity, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to meet students' unique needs Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tailored lesson plans aligned with students' IEP goals Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom culture Track and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Work closely with general education teachers and intervention teams Engage families in student learning and progress through regular communication Support positive behavioral interventions that help students succeed Cultivate a positive, encouraging learning environment for all learners
