Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Current certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Prior experience working 1:1 with pediatric students, preferably in an educational environment Comfortable with individualized lesson planning and adaptive teaching methods Ability to communicate collaboratively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized instruction and support tailored to the needs of a visually impaired student Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with measurable goals and strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student care and progress Adapt instructional materials to provide full accessibility and inclusion in classroom activities Track student progress and regularly report on academic and developmental milestones Serve as an advocate for students' needs in team meetings and consultations
