In this vital role, you will lead engaging activities and foster a nurturing environment for children in the school-age age group. Your leadership will inspire young learners, promote positive behavior, and support their developmental growth through innovative teaching methods and hands-on supervision. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development for school-age children Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with educational standards Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, including sports, arts, crafts, and group games Coordinate youth programs such as camps or extracurricular activities that foster teamwork and leadership skills Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral notes in compliance with licensing requirements Collaborate with team members to plan special events, parent meetings, and community engagement initiatives Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures, CPR/AED operation, and emergency response plans Experience Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, preferably with school-age groups Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with the ability to lead a team of educators or assistants Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience facilitating youth group activities or camp programs that promote leadership and social skills Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Prior experience working outdoors or organizing outdoor activities is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to engage children effectively while maintaining professionalism and patience Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds through innovative teaching and compassionate leadership.
