In this role, you will design and implement tailored instructional programs that meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders. 2 Open positions - Both positions are at the high school level. need currently clear credentialed in California mild/mod. Positions are full-time, on site only and located in Oakland, CA Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that incorporate instructional modifications suitable for students with various disabilities. Use evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies to support students' social-emotional development and classroom behavior. Collaborate regularly with speech therapists, occupational therapists, counselors, and other specialists to coordinate student support services. Adapt curriculum content to meet the unique needs of each student while ensuring compliance with special education law and standards. Conduct assessments and maintain detailed documentation of student progress through standardized testing, progress reports, and IEP meetings. Utilize educational technology tools to enhance instruction and facilitate accessible learning environments for students with disabilities. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular updates, conferences, and written reports to foster a strong partnership in student development.
