Job Description
Step into an impactful Special Education teaching role supporting students with exceptional needs in grades K-4! We are seeking a dedicated educator for a full-time contract assignment for the 26/27 academic year near Lower Lake, CA. This position carries the rewarding responsibility of guiding a caseload of 14 students within a supportive and resource-rich environment. The workday encompasses 7.5 hours of instructional time plus a weekly staff meeting, all structured within a 186-day school calendar.
Key Qualifications:
CTC Certification is required Professional experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with early elementary (K-4) students Proven ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, staff, and other specialists Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction for ESN (Extensive Support Needs) students in K-4th grades Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Assess student progress and adjust strategies according to learning goals Engage in weekly staff meetings and ongoing professional development Liaise with families to ensure a holistic and consistent support system Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements This contracted role offers competitive hourly pay of $40-$45, delivered weekly for your convenience.
