In this role, you will design and deliver individualized instruction, write and implement IEPs, and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs. You'll collaborate closely with therapists, school staff, and families to support student progress. Responsibilities Provide specially designed instruction to students with disabilities based on IEP goals Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with IEP teams Adapt curriculum, materials, and assessments to meet diverse learning needs Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and adjust instruction Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and supports Maintain accurate documentation and comply with special education regulations Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives Required Skills Special education instruction IEP development and implementation Behavior management Data collection and progress monitoring Differentiated instruction Knowledge of IDEA and special education law Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Classroom management Assistive technology familiarity Documentation and compliance
