This full-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering tailored instruction and support for a small group of students with effective needs in the 2nd and 3rd grades, within a K-8 setting. Youll have the chance to design creative lesson plans, foster positive learning experiences, and work alongside dedicated professionals who share a passion for student growth and inclusion.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting Strong knowledge of effective, differentiated instruction methods Ability to create and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Comfort working with elementary-aged students Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small group instruction to 2nd and 3rd grade students with identified needs Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Monitor student progress and adapt teaching approaches as necessary to ensure success Cultivate a supportive classroom culture that encourages social, academic, and emotional growth Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and school staff Participate in school meetings and professional development as required
