9666158-80809 Job Description Make a meaningful difference supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Cascade, CO. We have four contract opportunities beginning as soon as possible and extending through May 21, 2027. Youll provide vital services to elementary and junior high learnershelping them thrive both academically and socially. Each available position is based at a dedicated school site, serving caseloads of approximately 15 students in specialized settings for emotional/behavioral needs or autism spectrum support. You will work collaboratively within a committed team, utilizing your skills to positively impact students lives.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active special education licensure through the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Experience supporting elementary or junior high age groups preferred Background working with students with emotional, behavioral, or communication needs highly valued Strong skills in case management and IEP documentation Proficiency in delivering individualized instruction and providing positive behavior support

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of roughly 15 students, focusing on either affective needs or autism spectrum services Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Foster a supportive classroom culture using evidence-based strategies tailored to emotional, behavioral, or communication needs Provide direct instruction and monitor student progress Collaborate with families, support staff, and administrators Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and professional learning communities

Contract Highlights:
