As a Special Education Teacher, youll collaborate closely with general education staff, specialists, and families to create a positive, encouraging environment designed for student success. Your mornings will be filled with meaningful, hands-on instruction, running Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field State Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility to obtain) Demonstrated experience tailoring instruction to individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong classroom management and communication skills Collaborative, adaptable, and student-focused approach Previous experience in an elementary setting preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs Adapt and modify curriculum to meet each students unique needs Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom culture Communicate regularly with staff, specialists, and parents Maintain accurate records and document student progress Participate in staff meetings and professional development as scheduled This part-time position offers you a rewarding work-life balance with a consistent morning schedule, allowing you to make a difference while still having your afternoons free.
