Position Highlights School Setting:
Serve as the special education teacher in beautiful Evergreen, CO, in partnership with a school.
Small Caseload:
Just 10 students, plus one student with a cognitive disability — a manageable caseload that lets you give every student real attention.
Four-Day Week:
Monday-Thursday, 8 hours per day (~32 hrs/week) — enjoy three-day weekends, every week.

Streamlined Onboarding:
Fast-tracked placement backed by ongoing support. Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and case management for a caseload of 10 students, plus one student with a cognitive disability. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with IDEA and Colorado requirements. Adapt curriculum and deliver individualized and small-group instruction across settings. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and progress monitoring data for IEP reporting.
Compensation & Benefits Schedule:
4 days per week (Monday-Thursday), 8 hours per day.

Perks:
Professional development assistance included. Requirements Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education Generalist endorsement (or eligibility for Colorado licensure). Experience developing and implementing IEPs; experience supporting students with cognitive disabilities preferred. Elementary school experience preferred.
Pay:
$50.00 - $54.00 per hour
