Full-Time, 1.0 FTE Center-Based Autism Classroom Starting ASAP for the 2026-2027 School Year About the Role Hello, Special Education Teachers ! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in a center-based autism classroom in Mead, CO . In this role, you'll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students with autism. You'll work alongside a collaborative school team and a supportive, therapist-run company. • + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development + referral bonuses What You'll Do Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs Provide specialized instruction in a center-based autism classroom Create a structured and supportive classroom environment Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs Use evidence-based strategies and resources to support student growth What We're Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement Fingerprinting as required for the position Experience working with students with autism preferred Strong classroom management and collaboration skills School-based experience preferred, but not required About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women- and therapist-operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
