Key Qualifications:

Current and active Colorado teaching certification in Special Education. Demonstrated experience or passion for working with students requiring significant support needs or resource level intervention. Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to fostering inclusion and individual growth in classroom settings. Adaptability and initiative to respond to evolving needs within the school community.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to modify curriculum and deliver effective instruction. Employ evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social-emotional progress. Track and report on student progress, maintaining clear and organized records. Communicate regularly with families, ensuring transparency regarding students goals and achievements. Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
