Qualifications & Experience:

Active Colorado Teaching License is required Special Education (SPED) Endorsement Experience or comfort working with mild/moderate student behaviors Willingness to provide assistance with toileting if needed Previous experience with middle to high school age students preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative spirit

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student IEPs Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth Collaborate with fellow staff, families, and related service providers Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all educational guidelines Support and guide students social, emotional, and academic development This is a full-time, contract opportunity lasting from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027.
