As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students with academic or behavioral challenges. Responsibilities:

Identify student needs, implement treatment plans and goals Modify the educational curriculum to best meet the needs of each student Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Create and enforce classroom rules and procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date student data Write and submit session notes for each student Communicate with parents and clinical team

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or higher and special education license Previous experience as a special education teacher is preferred Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills
