A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed for a full-time contract assignment in a Resource Room setting for students in grades 712. The position begins as soon as possible and is scheduled to run through October 1, 2026, with a strong likelihood of extending through the full academic year. This role offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, providing stability while making a meaningful difference for a small group of students. Youll have the chance to work with a supportive staff and administration, focused on student success and inclusive education.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Connecticut Special Education certification for Grades 712 required Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to supporting the individual learning needs of students Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:
