This contract opportunity, located near Lizella, GA, is ideally suited for passionate educators seeking part-time work. Desired Skills and Experience:

Current certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience teaching students with visual impairments in a school setting is preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with faculty, families, and support staff Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individualized educational goals Expertise in utilizing assistive technology and specialized instructional strategies

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative instructional support to students with visual impairments Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored for student success Adapt classroom materials and lessons to ensure accessibility Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to foster inclusive learning environments Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies and supports as needed Offer training and resources on visual impairment to school staff when appropriate
