In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow while fostering a safe and supportive space that encourages curiosity and social-emotional development. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's education through innovative teaching strategies, effective classroom management, and meaningful parent communication. Responsibilities Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and age-appropriate activities. Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes physical activity, social interaction, and emotional well-being. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, potty training support, meal times, nap schedules, and indoor/outdoor play. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges constructively. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or development. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and implementing individualized plans for children with special education needs. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress and incident reports. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with toddlers aged two years old. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development milestones, and preschool teaching methods. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education for young children. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood welfare or mandated reporting laws are preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Experience teaching physical education or implementing standardized testing within early childhood programs is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities as a lead teacher. Pay:
