Job Description
Category Schools - Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful role supporting a high school student as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to make a direct impact through virtual services, providing targeted expertise where it's needed most. As the dedicated DHH professional, you will work one-on-one with a high school student for 10 hours each week, helping them overcome barriers and succeed academically. This position is approved for remote/virtual delivery, allowing you to provide exceptional support and guidance from a location that's convenient for you.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certification and/or credentialing as a Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) Experience working with high school-aged students who are deaf or hard of hearing Proficiency with technology and virtual learning platforms Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop individualized instructional strategies for student success Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
