Utilize educational technology tools and learning platforms to enhance student engagement and facilitate effective teaching strategies. Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress monitoring to evaluate student development and inform instructional adjustments. Collaborate closely with special education staff, therapists (speech, behavioral, music), parents, and other stakeholders to support student success. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies tailored to individual student needs. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP goals, behavioral reports, and communication logs to ensure transparency and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; advanced certifications in special education or early childhood education preferred. Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, or visual impairments. Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, instructional design, and behavioral management techniques. Proficiency in educational technology integration and learning tools designed for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, therapists, and students' families. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and behavioral needs. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education practices and ongoing professional development in special education topics such as ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), speech therapy techniques, or literacy education.
