Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Demonstrated experience teaching English language arts Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Effective communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and students Previous experience in a school setting, particularly in special education, is highly valued Adaptability and creativity in using differentiated instruction methods

Principal Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized and group English instruction to students with diverse learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success Communicate regularly with families and staff to support student growth Maintain instructional records, progress notes, and reports according to school and district guidelines Participate actively in professional development and team meetings
