Three contract positions are newly available in a supportive educational setting near Urbana, IL. Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Active teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school environment Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and data-driven instruction Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to creating positive, supportive learning experiences for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student progress Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure consistent strategies and accommodations Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, behaviors, and goals Participate in team meetings, professional development, and family conferences Advocate for students by ensuring access to resources and support services Take the next step in your career by contributing to an environment where every child can thrive.
