Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Teacher to join our educational team. This role is ideal for individuals committed to fostering a positive learning environment for young children. The successful candidate will support classroom activities, develop engaging lesson plans, and contribute to the overall growth and development of students. Prior experience in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to create a safe and nurturing environment. Engage children in activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being. Assist with classroom organization, materials preparation, and maintaining a clean learning space. Collaborate with colleagues to develop individualized education plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Support children with toddler care needs and provide guidance on childcare best practices. Incorporate assessments such as standardized testing or informal evaluations to monitor student progress. Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy education, or specialized teaching techniques such as Montessori or preschool experience. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, private school, or early childhood education settings. Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and child welfare standards. Familiarity with teaching methods for early intervention, special education, or tutoring is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with diverse learners including those requiring additional support such as special education or early intervention programs.
