Key Qualifications:

Valid Kentucky Special Education teaching certification, including Moderate/Severe Disabilities (MSD) credentials Demonstrated experience in supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities Passion for providing individualized, student-centered educational plans Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators, therapists, and support staff Strong communication skills with families and school stakeholders

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated instruction designed to address each students unique learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work closely with general education teachers to ensure effective inclusion Employ evidence-based strategies, assistive technology, and behavioral interventions Foster a nurturing, respectful classroom environment that promotes growth and independence Document progress and maintain up-to-date, accurate records
