9651610-04005 Job Description Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education Teacher in a resource setting at an elementary school near Biddeford, ME. This rewarding contract opportunity serves 4th and 5th grade students from now through June 11, 2027. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting students growth, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:20 AM to 2:20 PM, with early release for students on Wednesdays at 1:10 PM. Ideal candidates bring compassion, expertise in differentiating instruction, and proficiency in addressing both academic and behavioral needs. Prior experience with life skills and/or behavior programs is especially valued in this resource classroom setting.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching credential/certification (or eligibility) for elementary students Experience working in resource or inclusion settings with 4th and 5th graders Strong background in supporting behavior programs and/or teaching life skills Ability to create individualized learning plans and work collaboratively with general education teachers Excellent communication and organizational abilities
